Back from the Pool

I’m back from the pool.  Spent about 45 minutes treading water– I can’t find my goggles.  I’ve ordered prescription goggles, though.  They’ll be here in about a week or so.  I was kind of disappointed.  I would have worn my flowered swim cap if I knew I wasn’t going to be doing laps.  After we got home, I did the exercises in this article to work on my IT Band.  I hope to get that strengthened and get strong enough to be able to start running in a couple of months.  Until then, I realized I can get to the pool for at least half an hour six days a week, so I’m going to try to do that.  Starting with about 10 laps a day, working up to about 45 minutes of swimming.  When my IT Band is better, I’ll start doing some time on the elliptical.

Weigh-in is tomorrow.  I suspect I won’t have a loss.
